The abundance and diversity of plains game in Africa has attracted trophy hunters from around the world for at least two centuries. Usiba Safaris has entertained an international register of friends from South Africa, America, England, Namibia, Belgium, and Sweden. Some sought the small, shy duikers of dense Valley bushveld or mountain reedbuck and vaal rhebok on high open mountains. Others zeroed in on the majestic horned masters of the northern bushveld, the kudu, waterbuck, and eland while others searched for the long horned gemsbok in Kalahari duneveld. All hunters have been stirred by Africa’s plains game.
